In our storytelling class tonight we discussed the importance of creating a video with the specific intent of knowing where it will end up online. After all there are so many video communities online today – more than just YouTueb. An example of this is Vimeo.com.
Our professor Drew noted that when he makes a ‘how to video’ on YouTube, people are much more inclined to comment on it than on the more artsy Vimeo video site. Alternatively, many more comments will be posted on Vimeo when he creates an HD video that has elements of art, camera angles, lighting and more.
